Advanced Dermal Fillers

Small tweaks, big impact.

Ever wish you could turn back the clock to tighter, smoother skin?

Would you like to reshape, define and enhance your face’s natural beauty?

Dermal fillers are a safe, effective and non-invasive option to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Made up of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance the body naturally produces, dermal fillers stimulate the body’s own collagen production for longer lasting results.

Whether you’re just thinking about it or you’re ready to book, elevate your aesthetics experience with Face Things First.

As a nurse-led clinic, we pride ourselves on our natural looking  results, using the highest quality dermal fillers produced by leading manufacturers.

Frequently Asked Questions

When will I see results?

You will notice instant results after your dermal filler treatment. However, it can take between a few days and a few weeks to see the finished result after the filler has settled in and the swelling disappeared.

Are dermal fillers painful?

If performed by an expert aesthetician, dermal filler injections should not hurt. You might experience some mild discomfort, depending on the area treated and amount of filler used. If you have concerns or are nervous, numbing cream can be applied pre-treatment.

Are there any side effects?

Following the procedure, you may notice minor side effects like swelling, redness or bruising around the injection area. However, these will fade after a couple of days. Reduce the risk of rare but serious side effects by always choosing a well-trained and experienced medical professional to inject filler.

Is there anything I shouldn't do after getting dermal filler?

Because dermal fillers are non-surgical, downtime is minimal. However, lay off the intense cardio or heavy lifting afterwards to allow the filler to settle. To avoid migration, it’s best not to book other treatments like facials, microneedling and dermaplaning for two weeks.

Can dermal fillers be removed?

Because dermal fillers use naturally-occurring hyaluronic acid, they are gradually broken down by the body over time. If you have dermal filler that has migrated, been overfilled, or you’re unhappy with how it looks, it can be dissolved with the option to refill the area afterwards.

Can I have dermal fillers if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?

There is no research or clinical trial into the safety of dermal fillers during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Due to this, it is advised to avoid them until after the baby is born or you have stopped breastfeeding.
